exploring color photography sixth edition

the photo i shot of eby ghafarian rolling in on a roof bank made it into a color photography textbook!

it's the sixth revision of robert hirsch's exploring color photography - film to pixels.
it's kind of surreal since there are all these classic pioneer photographers in the book.

the photo is from the roof skating section in colin read's video tengu, and also appears in stoops magazine issue 01.

"This is one of my favourite photos from this issue that I've shot. ... We saw the spot from the road, and I just really didn't think wallieing off the fence over the gate was that possible. It happened so quick I was quite stressed about whether or not I'd get the photo as good as it should be, especially with Ryan Garshell trying to get film rolling alongside."

this was the 3rd trick he did that day, the first two being his switch backside 180 in the bronx, and his switch ollie on roosevelt island.
by the time we got to this third spot at night, i was thinking, how is he still skating?
